Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 1993. The Department offers B.Sc (CS) and BCA (2007) undergraduate programs. Of all the postgraduate programs MSc CS (2001) is the first PG course to be introduced in the college. Apart from these we also take part in other non-computer science disciplines such as BCom (Vocational), compulsory, and open elective subjects. We have also adopted a curriculum under National Education Policy (NEP) from the academic year 2021 to 2022.
The Department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning. The course structure is in line with the latest advances in technology which equip the students with the latest developments in Computer Science. The department is kept active with various events driven by active student participation.
The department has well-equipped computer laboratories, round the clock high-speed internet facility for both students and the faculties, magazines, and journals on the latest trending technologies, and a dedicated library with around 2000 books.
